What is Colour On Fire Art Studio & School?

Colour On Fire Art Studio & School (COF) provides art education, classes, workshops and creative experiences for children, teens and adults. We also offer birthday parties, Art-To-Go kits, school art programs, summer camps, corporate team-building events and private group activities.

Where does Colour On Fire offer classes and programs?

COF offers art classes and programs in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta. We also provide select creative experiences at schools, workplaces, community venues and other locations, depending on the program.

Do I need previous art experience?

No! Many of our programs are suitable for beginners, while others provide opportunities to develop existing artistic skills. Our goal is to encourage creativity, build confidence and make art enjoyable for everyone.

Can I book a private group activity?

Yes! Depending on the program, private group bookings may be available for birthdays, friends, families, adult groups, corporate teams and special events. Contact us to discuss your group size, preferred activity and location.

Kids' Art Classes & Summer Camps

What ages can participate in kids' art classes?

Our kids’ art classes and workshops are designed for students approximately 5–17 years old. Specific age ranges may vary by class or program.

What do children learn in art classes?

Children develop artistic techniques, creativity, observation, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Our programs encourage students to experiment with materials, express their ideas and build confidence in their artistic abilities.

Do you offer summer art camps?

Are full-day and half-day summer camps available?

Do children need to bring their own art supplies?

NO, all art supplies and materials are provided.

Adult Art Classes & Workshops

Do you offer art classes for adults?

Do I need to be an experienced artist?

Can I book an adult workshop for a group?

You & Me Art Classes

What are You & Me art classes?

You & Me art classes give an adult and child the opportunity to spend quality time together while creating art. These shared creative experiences encourage imagination, connection and fun through painting and making art side by side.

Who can participate in You & Me classes?

These classes are intended for an adult and child to participate together. Please check the individual class listing for age requirements, available dates and registration details.

Do we require to bring any art supplies?

No! All art supplies are provided for our You & Me art classes, so you and your child can simply show up, get creative and enjoy making art together.

Art-To-Go Kits

What are COF Art-To-Go kits?

rt-To-Go kits bring the fun of creating art to your home or another chosen location. Kits offer a convenient way to enjoy a creative activity without attending an in-person class.

What art projects are available?

Depending on availability, projects may include canvas painting using watercolour or acrylic paint and non-fire pottery painting. Pottery options may include decorative characters, animals, tiles, flowerpots, cups and other fun pieces.

Are Art-To-Go kits delivered?

Yes! COF Art-To-Go kits can be delivered to your door. Please contact us to confirm delivery availability, locations, pricing and current kit options.

Do I need a pottery kiln to complete a pottery kit?

No. Our non-fire pottery painting projects use paints that do not require kiln firing. Follow the care and finishing instructions provided with your kit.

Birthday Parties & Private Events

Can I host a birthday party with Colour On Fire?

Yes! COF offers creative birthday party experiences where guests can enjoy making art together. Depending on the available package, activities may include canvas painting, pottery painting or other creative projects.

How do I reserve a birthday party?

A $52.50 booking fee, including tax, is required to reserve a birthday party. This fee is non-refundable and is separate from the per-child package cost. Please confirm the current package pricing, minimum participant requirements and booking terms before reserving.

Can I choose the art project for a birthday party?

Available projects depend on the selected package. Options may include canvas painting, pottery painting and other creative activities. Contact COF to find the best option for your celebration.

School Art Programs

Does COF offer art programs for schools?

Yes! COF provides art education programs for a variety of school settings, including public, Catholic, charter, private and home schools.

What types of school art programs are available?

Programs may include in-school art classes, lunch-hour and after-school programs, art residencies, day programs, parent council activities and special creative events. Program formats can be adapted to suit the needs of the school or group.

Can programs be arranged at our school?

Yes! COF can discuss bringing selected art programs directly to your school. Contact us with your location, preferred dates, age groups and program requirements to discuss availability.

Who is teaching the class?

Classes are taught by experienced Colour On Fire Art Studio & School instructors who guide students through each project, provide support and encourage creativity. Our instructors work to make art enjoyable and engaging for every student.

Corporate Events & Team Building

Does COF offer corporate team-building activities?

Yes! COF offers creative activities for corporate groups, teams and organizations. Making art together is a fun way to encourage communication, collaboration and fresh thinking outside the usual work environment.

Can COF bring an art activity to our workplace?

Registration, Payments & Refunds

How do I register for a class or camp?

What is your refund policy?

Class and program registrations are non-refundable. Studio credit may be available in accordance with COF’s applicable policies. Please review the terms associated with your specific booking before registering.

Some activities, including birthday parties and selected group workshops, have separate non-refundable booking fees. Please check the relevant program details for the applicable terms.

Can I transfer my registration or receive studio credit?
