Curriculum-Connected & Cross-Curricular Learning

Connecting creativity, critical thinking and classroom learning through art.

At Colour On Fire, art is more than making something beautiful. It is an opportunity for students to investigate ideas, communicate their thinking, solve problems and make meaningful connections between subjects.

Art Education Curriculum with Colour On Fire Art Studio

COF’s constructive approach to art education supports problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making and innovation. Students are encouraged to explore their own ideas in a supportive learning environment where the creative process is an important part of learning.

Programs can be discussed with school staff to determine appropriate topics, learning objectives and curriculum connections.

Art Education Scholarships

Helping Make Art Education Accessible

Colour On Fire Art Studio & School offers two Art Education Scholarships to participating schools that book a 10-week art education session during the fall, winter or spring term.

For each qualifying session, COF awards two scholarships to the school. The school principal and/or teachers select two students who would benefit from financial assistance with their art class fees.

The scholarship program is designed to help reduce financial barriers and make meaningful art education opportunities more accessible to students.
